Hazel Nut Tree leaves
1.2 oz / 36 g, dried whole leaf. Leaves may crumble during shipping.
We harvest hazel nut leaves during the summer and dry them in our solar food dehydrator. We use the dried leaves as a tea, especially when we are feeling anxiety. We find that the leaves relieve stress and anxiety very well.
Picture shows the leaves and does not reflect the quantity.
~~~ Other Info of Interest ~~~
Hazel nut trees are amazing plants. The shaft has been used for thousands of years by the indigenous peoples to help toddlers while they are teething. The squirrels engage in agriculture here as they plant hazel nuts every fall resulting in a lot of hazel nut shrubs on this land. We use the green fresh leaves in salads during the summer and dry them for tea. We urge people to do their research before consuming natural products to ensure they do not interact with current medications or other sensitivities.
My Notes RE Bartering:
We are open to barter for seeds, food stuffs, honey, clothing, fruit trees, and fuel. We are also open to offers.
You may scroll down to the Product Enquiry form to inquire about bartering with them and possibly setting up arrangements for a trade. All barters are facilitated privately between the parties involved. Barter at your own risk.
Shipping To These Countries
Part of the decolonization process is to recognize and acknowledge that Mother Earth does not provide for our needs 365 days a year. Food and medicine is seasonal and most of our products are only available at specific times of the year. Winter is a time for rest and that is when we have time for crafting and creating. Availability of our products will ebb and flow with the changing seasons and our availability to put together what you may need.
We are also not into manufacturing and as such, we don't work ahead to build inventory for most of our offerings. We will do our best to let you know what we have available or when it will be available depending on the seasons.
We will do our best to communicate with the customer prior to initiating any agreement so that expectations can be managed appropriately, with honour and integrity. We do reserve the right to limit specific products to ensure that we do not meet or exceed the capacity of this land. As stewards, it is our duty to protect the land so that the food and medicine is available for at least seven generations.
We ask that you contact us to check for availability or to pre-order. That will give us the ability to determine how much harvesting we need to do in order to remain sustainable and meet your needs as well.
We will send orders internationally, though we will need to communicate with you to determine costs and viability prior to completing any orders.
