Well, I’ve just finished reading this book, and I find myself pricing up all the bits needed to get myself some chickens! This for me is a big step as for a long time I’ve been too nervous due to not knowing what I was getting my self into. This e-book has been a great read, simple and concise but wrote in a very personable manner and covered a lot of ground on keeping, raising and looking after chickens. What was nice to see was that it wasn’t all chickens a great, it covered the good but all so the downsides of keeping livestock like illness and loss because of this I feel better equipped and look forward to venturing into the world of keeping chickens, definitely recommend for anyone that’s not sure if they want to take that next step.

I find this ebook to be very well rounded and helpful. I have owned chickens for about 5 months. I haven’t worked out all the kinks, and I learned a lot! There is lots of information I wish I had before I got chickens. This is a great learning book for those interested in chickens, new owners of chickens, and those wanting to learn something new. I relate to the authors personal stories of lose and joy, and it was a very easy read. A definite go-to!
