A 2 fl. oz. (60mL) bottle of double decoction of Trametes versicolor, the turkeytail mushroom.
When I first encountered Turkeytail, I thought she was just another pretty mushroom. Boy, was I wrong!
I quickly found and was overtaken by the healing power of this mushroom, and I had to have it in my life. My natural medicine journey started with Trametes versicolor, and I don’t know if there’s any stronger place to start.
I call on turkeytail when I’m unwell. Usually with a cold or something similar, but she’s been known to be beneficial with a wide array of ailments, including cancer, flu, HPV, hepatitis, and chronic inflammation. A very wide array. Polysaccharides A and K are two of the active compounds credited with this mushroom’s effectiveness. Both have been known and used in synthesized form in Japan for decades as immunotherapy.
These mushrooms were sustainably harvested from a small pecan microforest near my home. They were harvested after sporulation, the mushroom’s version of sending out seeds. So, while the mycorrhizal network of these mushrooms likely goes for miles, those seeds will return to and strengthen that network. This helps insure that their local population will continue. A notion I’m sure the forest will recognize.
This is a recycled two ounce bottle of tincture. You’ll need your own dropper or dosing instrument. I do not take this tincture regularly: only as needed. I use what is considered a high dose of 1 mL, usually in kombucha or tea, where it has no effect on the flavor. The contents are roughly 40% grain alcohol after the dual decoction: once in alcohol, once in water.
Ingredients: alcohol, water, Turkeytail mushrooms (Trametes versicolor).
Pregnant or nursing women, individuals taking medications or persons who have a medical or health condition should consult their physician before using this product.
My Notes RE Bartering:
Interested in bartering for plants, medicines, and daily use items that would keep me from spending money at the store.
You may scroll down to the Product Enquiry form to inquire about bartering with them and possibly setting up arrangements for a trade. All barters are facilitated privately between the parties involved. Barter at your own risk.
Shipping To These Countries
When shipping items, I typically reuse packaging that I've received from other purchases. I ship with USPS because it is along my usual driving route and does not increase my petroleum consumption. I don't drive this route daily, so it may take a 3-5 days to ship, but orders usually ship within two days. After shipping, a tracking number will be added to your order and you'll be notified of that update via email from HSCO.
I do not ship outside the lower 48, as it is cost prohibitive.
Returns & Exchanges
Foxfire Homestead does not officially accept returns. However, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis by contacting me at my email, on steem, on discord (nateonsteemit#1247), and on instagram. In the rare case that a return is authorized, return shipping must be covered by the purchaser and the product must be returned unused.
